Elite Marshals

I registered as a Elite Marshall for the Guntersville Elite Series tournament yesterday, thought some of you might want to check it out. This program replaces the co-angler rides with the pros. For $100, you ride two days with two different pros at one of the lake you choice that is on the tournament circuit. Cheaper than a guide and would be pretty cool to ride along and learn some tricks and locations.

No handheld GPS units are allowed, but nothing is said that you can't note out some triangulation points. This is one of those times where I think it pays to be artistic. After all, after this weekend, you know how good I am at watching someone else catch fish.

It sounds like an excellent way to gain some valuable knowledge. Let us know who you get paired up with and give us some insight on what you learned.
